TAURUS (April 20-May 20)
There’s a reason for everything…
Unusually, there will be two full moons that flank your life-direction axis in the next twenty-eight days, so you have two valuable opportunities to reach a conclusion, after which a new chapter can open. Ideally, you yourself need to get behind this process so that you consciously bring an end to a situation. Taureans do not relish change, although you are good at building anew once there is no going back, so if you are currently dealing with a situation that is threatening to collapse – or at least head in a direction you do not want – consider the advantages of letting go and moving on. Easier said than done, but these past eighteen months have no doubt taught you everything you needed to know about dealing with the unexpected.
CANCER (June 21- July 22)
Deep and profound.Keep an open mind.
Since late June, both Venus and the Sun have opposed Pluto, and now it is the turn of Mercury. Perhaps you have been dealing with an ongoing problem for the past few weeks so that Mercury will prove helpful in finally bringing resolution, yet it is always wise to tread carefully on such an aspect. Communications are delicate and unseen landmines could lie in wait. Put another way, there may be information you are currently unaware of, which could alter the shape and texture of a situation. Certainly, you’ll need to be prepared for a forensic examination of the facts, and also that any decisions or commitments will have lasting consequences.
Just before Jupiter heads out of the seventh house, it connects with lovely Venus, encouraging happy romantic developments and breeding love and light. There is a lot riding on the strength of this aspect, however, since elsewhere there is a degree of opposition and aggravation, so keep focusing on the positive and don’t allow a minor upset to become major. Go into meetings and discussions with an open mind: even if you’re sure of the outcome and aware how others think, it is possible to change an outcome. Pack an olive branch in your bag.
SCORPIO (Oct 23-Nov 21)
Full moons breed conclusions. Sometimes deeply satisfying conclusions, and sometimes quite the reverse. Nevertheless, all endings give rise to new beginnings, which is where your focus should be. Likewise, it’s not what you have lost but what possibilities have now opened up. What you want to avoid on a Mercury-Pluto opposition is issuing ultimatums or retaliating in force. With the Sun’s entry into the area of career and life-direction, you are beginning a period when you can build for the future but you don’t have to demolish a piece of your past in the process.
CAPRICORN (Dec 22 - Jan 19)Bringing matters into the light.
Mercury-Pluto oppositions have their uses. They enable you to get to the heart of a matter. They get you into the living room so that you can acknowledge the elephant, and they can give you the knowledge with which to turn a situation around. Mercury is currently in the area of relating so it is more likely that someone else will bring an important matter to your attention, but it is also possible that you need to tackle a delicate issue with someone to whom you are close. Only when buried issues or hidden factors see the light of day can they be seen for what they truly are, and resolved.
PISCES (Feb 19-Mar 20)
Peace, love and harmony.
A Venus-Jupiter opposition on the relationship axis is a beautiful thing. It can breed love, togetherness, joy and good times. You may well discover the bounty of this aspect without having to lift a finger; on the other hand, if you’ve been looking for the right time to kiss and make up, propose marriage or simply enjoy life with friends and loved ones, make your move. Annoyingly, this influence is not happening in a vacuum, and elsewhere there is tension, if not the potential for a serious argument. Pisces normally heads in the opposite direction at the first sign of conflict, and this is not the moment to change your colors.
