ARIES (March 21-April 19)
Stuck?
Aries are the zodiac’s pioneers and usually find it easy to go where they’ve never gone before, but since the Saturn-Pluto conjunction of 2020, you’re a little less gung-ho. Similarly, it’s not so easy for you to kick over the traces of a situation that didn’t quite work out with the conviction that there is something better just over the horizon. The current cosmic state of play may well mean that you cannot go forward and you cannot go back: you’re stuck. And with the Sun angling Neptune it will be difficult to see how a situation can work out. It may take a few weeks, but the status quo will change.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)
Red flags are flying.
There’s no two ways about it; this is a confusing time. Just when you thought you knew what you were doing and could start to follow through on some plans, things appear to be changing yet again. Even if you’ve got the measure of these influences and everything is in shape and on target, you need to tread carefully. With Neptune in pride of place, mis-information is an occupational hazard. Overdo the checks, keep getting back to people, and if anything is making a funny noise, don’t kick it but get it seen to by the professionals. It is barely a week since the solar eclipse in your sign, red flags are flying.

LEO (July 23-August 23)
Bend and stretch.
You can learn a lot about the meaning of Saturn and Uranus in your life this week. These two planets meet for the second time since mid-February, and with Saturn in the area of relating and Uranus in the zone of life-direction, what happens in this mid-June period could help you make some important decisions about the future. You may discover what is solid and true and what needs to dramatically change. You could establish who you can rely on and trust, and who needs to shape up or ship out! And it may be that events beyond your control bring some new options onto the table. As long as you’re prepared to shift your position and look to new possibilities, all will be well; dig your heels in, and it’s going to be difficult.

LIBRA (Sep 23 - Oct 22)
Less is more.
This is a strange period of the year. While dreams can be fulfilled courtesy of Neptune, the more likely scenario is deep confusion. Maybe someone is out of touch – maybe you’re being ghosted! – or perhaps you need an answer or some information that refuses to appear. You’re in limbo. The notion that no-news-is-good-news should still apply, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t put in firewalls and protect your back. Less-is-more may be an irritating maxim, but it could apply at the moment. Whether you’re selling something or negotiating a fee, accepting an offer that is on the table is better than to hold out for a superior one that may never materialize.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov 22-Dec 21)
A waiting-game.
Last week’s solar eclipse may be in the past, but that doesn’t mean it’s work is done. Over the next few weeks its potential will be revealed, so to a certain extent you can relax and await developments. With Neptune in play, there is still a danger that you cannot see the full picture, which is yet another reason to bide your time. This is not the most exuberant set of influences we’ve had, and it may be that certain matters you believed were done and dusted have come back to haunt you, so to speak, or that situations you thought were rock solid appear to have some cracks in them. Time.

AQUARIUS (Jan 20-Feb 18)
Too early to call it.
Saturn squared up to Uranus in mid-February, and it will do so again on Monday. So, there may well be a connection between events earlier in the year and those of the current period. Then again, a whole new set of possibilities could present themselves. With Saturn in your sign, there is both the potential to add substance to your life and to experience disappointment, so for some Aquarians this is a time of success, of acquiring responsibilities you are happy to bear, while for others it is a case of returning to the drawing board. It is too early to decide on the long-term outcome of recent developments; things will change over the coming months. The now calls for expedience and pragmatism.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)
Times are changing.
This is the second time Saturn and Uranus have angled each other this year, so there may well be a connection between the events of mid-February and now. Saturn is retrograde, so if you feel you are being held up or taken over old ground, it will be for good reason. Saturn is the lord of time, which invariably means things happen at the time they’re meant to happen, and not when you’d like them to happen. It is also important to recognize where you’re stubbornly hanging onto something that is not right for you or can no longer work out in the post-coronavirus world. Letting go is probably the answer.

CANCER (June 21- July 22)
Allow the fog to clear.
Curiouser and curiouser, said Alice… Yes, we are in wonderland this week, courtesy of planet Neptune, so not a lot is going to make perfect sense. Clearly, if there are actions you could and should take, you must do so, but if a cloud of uncertainty is hovering over a situation, do nothing until you can see it clearly. On the 21st, the Sun will come into your sign and you will be on much firmer ground, so for the next seven days, meditate, get out the yoga mat and let other people worry about what’s going on.

VIRGO (Aug 24-Sep22)
Separating fact from fiction.
With Neptune angling the Sun, and Jupiter turning retrograde, not everything is as straight-forward as you may like. This doesn’t mean plans cannot be fulfilled or situations are going to take a turn for the worse, but it does suggest that patience and research is required before you nail your colours to the mast. We are still in the shadow of last week’s eclipse so fate and circumstance could be playing a part in life and love, even so there is much you can do to turn a negative into a positive by taking the time to check what is real and what is pure fiction.

SCORPIO (Oct 23-Nov 21)
Walk a mile in someone else’s shoes.
We may not like the combined effect of a Saturn and Uranus square, but if we understand the process that goes with this transit we can get a handle on it. While Saturn reveals what isn’t working, what won’t work and where our faith has been misplaced, Uranus invites us to try something completely different. It’s simply a question of facing reality and figuring out where to go from here. Breakthroughs can indeed happen at this time, and often such things come about because we see a situation in a whole new light. It’s one thing to be firm of purpose, another to stand in our own way.

CAPRICORN (Dec 22 - Jan 19)
Trust your instincts.
Not for the first time is the astrology sending mixed messages. On the one hand, you may have to accept that a plan is unworkable and a new one must be formed; on the other hand, doubts being raised by other people could put a project in jeopardy. While you should listen to other people’s opinions, facts, common sense and, last but not least, your own convictions should take priority. You’re a good decision-maker Capricorn, and if you believe something can work – albeit with a few tweaks – stick to your guns.

PISCES (Feb 19-Mar 20)You first.
Pause for thought.
Jupiter entered Pisces in mid-May and will spend another six weeks in your sign, however, this planet of growth and good fortune turns retrograde on Sunday, and this, combined with other astrological factors, could make for a frustrating few days. Situations that were progressing well could hit a bump in the road, and a run of success may suddenly come to a halt. One way or another, a turn in the tide is forecast, although you should see this as an opportunity to regroup and review in order to come back bigger, stronger and better. This is a rut in the road, not a sink hole.
