ARIES (March 21-April 19)
Setting a wrong to rights.
The Aries Ram is an instinctual creature. You think best in a crisis and your courage invariably rewards you. However, this approach should not be in use on a day-to-day basis. Forethought in order to be forearmed is a marvelous thing. With this in mind, a red light that is faintly blinking now needs to be addressed well before it becomes a crisis in early August. Pushing through as fast and powerfully as you can is not recommended. If a situation is showing signs of distress, a pause is required in order to establish what is wrong and to set about fixing it. Forethought, you see. Comes in useful.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)
Making your own luck.
The atmosphere may be vaguely confrontational, so although being able to smooth over any bumps in the road is recommended, you still need to take any threats, promises or frigid silences seriously. Likewise, getting from A to B in terms of travel and understandings is going to prove challenging, especially later in the week, so leaving plenty of time for journeys and having a couple of plan-Bs in your backpack is probably a good idea. Fortunately, Venus and Jupiter combine to breed joy and abundance, so any difficulties may well turn out to be divinely providential.

LEO (July 23-August 23)
Happy endings?
On Thursday, the Sun enters Leo empowering and enlightening you. Two days later, a full moon reinforces this message and brings relationships into the spotlight. This would be an ideal time to marry or put your signature on a contract, yet it is also a time when separations and endings can occur. Venus and Jupiter are also aligned, inspiring happy endings and happy gatherings, and even if the week does bring disappointment and loss, there will be compensations. In a little over a week Uranus and Saturn will be back in charge, so anything sporting an amber light needs to be addressed now.

LIBRA (Sep 23 - Oct 22)
Negotiate, negotiate.
The will to negotiate could make all the difference. The combination of a full moon and a Mercury-Pluto opposition breeds tension and disunity, but nothing is set in stone – things can change. Maybe you have met with a large obstruction, but there is more than one way to get around it. You might have to leave the negotiating table with less than you hoped or perhaps any changes will involve considerable effort and adaptation, but far better to come away with something than nothing. Indeed, where offers involving finance or property are concerned, hanging out for more is not recommended.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov 22-Dec 21)
Keep in going – regardless.
It’s good to spread the love but not to spread yourself too thin. Right now, you need to focus on the most important matter to the exclusion of virtually everything else and to keep on going until you’ve got somewhere. For some Sagittarians this advice relates to a financial issue and for others it is about getting a firm plan in place. You may face some criticism or resistance, but once people see you are determined they’ll back off. As for the love… A beautiful link between Venus and Jupiter can speed the course of true love and mend a lot of fences.

AQUARIUS (Jan 20-Feb 18)
Depth-charged.
The first of two full moons in your sign takes place on Saturday, which is unusual and advantageous. You have two opportunities to put a situation to bed and/or reach an important understanding. A relationship is likely to be in the mix, and while some Aquarians will be able to sign on the dotted line or arrive at a satisfactory conclusion, others will be ripping up contracts and bidding sayonara to someone or something. These are extremes, of course, and you’ll probably find instead that you are made aware how deeply you feel about a certain matter or a particular individual.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)
There’s a reason for everything…
Unusually, there will be two full moons that flank your life-direction axis in the next twenty-eight days, so you have two valuable opportunities to reach a conclusion, after which a new chapter can open. Ideally, you yourself need to get behind this process so that you consciously bring an end to a situation. Taureans do not relish change, although you are good at building anew once there is no going back, so if you are currently dealing with a situation that is threatening to collapse – or at least head in a direction you do not want – consider the advantages of letting go and moving on. Easier said than done, but these past eighteen months have no doubt taught you everything you needed to know about dealing with the unexpected.

CANCER (June 21- July 22)
Deep and profound.
Since late June, both Venus and the Sun have opposed Pluto, and now it is the turn of Mercury. Perhaps you have been dealing with an ongoing problem for the past few weeks so that Mercury will prove helpful in finally bringing resolution, yet it is always wise to tread carefully on such an aspect. Communications are delicate and unseen landmines could lie in wait. Put another way, there may be information you are currently unaware of, which could alter the shape and texture of a situation. Certainly, you’ll need to be prepared for a forensic examination of the facts, and also that any decisions or commitments will have lasting consequences.

VIRGO (Aug 24-Sep22)
Keep an open mind.
Just before Jupiter heads out of the seventh house, it connects with lovely Venus, encouraging happy romantic developments and breeding love and light. There is a lot riding on the strength of this aspect, however, since elsewhere there is a degree of opposition and aggravation, so keep focusing on the positive and don’t allow a minor upset to become major. Go into meetings and discussions with an open mind: even if you’re sure of the outcome and aware how others think, it is possible to change an outcome. Pack an olive branch in your bag.

SCORPIO (Oct 23-Nov 21)
Conclusions.
Full moons breed conclusions. Sometimes deeply satisfying conclusions, and sometimes quite the reverse. Nevertheless, all endings give rise to new beginnings, which is where your focus should be. Likewise, it’s not what you have lost but what possibilities have now opened up. What you want to avoid on a Mercury-Pluto opposition is issuing ultimatums or retaliating in force. With the Sun’s entry into the area of career and life-direction, you are beginning a period when you can build for the future but you don’t have to demolish a piece of your past in the process.

CAPRICORN (Dec 22 - Jan 19)
Bringing matters into the light.
Mercury-Pluto oppositions have their uses. They enable you to get to the heart of a matter. They get you into the living room so that you can acknowledge the elephant, and they can give you the knowledge with which to turn a situation around. Mercury is currently in the area of relating so it is more likely that someone else will bring an important matter to your attention, but it is also possible that you need to tackle a delicate issue with someone to whom you are close. Only when buried issues or hidden factors see the light of day can they be seen for what they truly are, and resolved.

PISCES (Feb 19-Mar 20)
Peace, love and harmony.
A Venus-Jupiter opposition on the relationship axis is a beautiful thing. It can breed love, togetherness, joy and good times. You may well discover the bounty of this aspect without having to lift a finger; on the other hand, if you’ve been looking for the right time to kiss and make up, propose marriage or simply enjoy life with friends and loved ones, make your move. Annoyingly, this influence is not happening in a vacuum, and elsewhere there is tension, if not the potential for a serious argument. Pisces normally heads in the opposite direction at the first sign of conflict, and this is not the moment to change your colors.
